Woman Goes For A Walk But She Wasn’t Expecting To Find A Stack Of Turtles

When it comes to unusual events, they do tend to come our way every once in a while. We can’t often predict when they are going to happen, and when they do take place, we simply need to take in the moment and appreciated it for all it’s worth.

That’s probably just how a woman named Kelly Brecker felt when she saw a most unusual sight while out for a walk.

Of course, if you are going for a walk in the woods in Virginia, you are going to see some unusual things but never did she expect to see a stack of turtles.

She was on a trail running by a small creek when she heard something in front of her. Two other hikers were also out the day and they were quite perplexed over what they were seeing.

In speaking with The Dodo, she said she was wondering what could be so funny because they were making quite a commotion.

When Kelly looked down in the water, that is when she saw the most unusual sight. It was a stack of turtles that were on top of each other in the middle of the water. Facebook user Shubhada Patwardhan shared photos of the turtles and it’s quite a sight.

I don’t know about you, but if I were to see a stack of turtles in the water, I would start to think that somebody was putting me on. As far as the turtles were concerned, however, it was just another day of life and they were enjoying some time in the sun.

Perhaps this is best explained by a biologist named David Steen. According to The Dodo, he said the turtles are often looking for a warm place to hang out in the sun and they decided that the same spot would be used by multiple turtles.

Steen feels that the turtles simply climbed up on top of each other in order to get a sunnier spot.

When you stop to think about it, it makes perfect sense but then again, perhaps it may have been best if they would have just found a spot of their own.
