What In The World Is A Narwhal?

A narwhal is very unique and noticeable in the whale kingdom, but little is actually known about this interesting animal. For years, scientists have been debating theories on what the purpose is of the signature long tusk that is on the narwhal’s head. In fact, the tusk is actually a tooth that can reach up to 10 feet in length! Sadly, it was once harvested and sold as a unicorn horn for ten times its weight in gold. Thankfully, that practice has stopped, but the mystery of the narwhal still remains.
