See the Incredible Rescue & Release of One of North America’s Largest Owls!

Snowy owls, made famous by Harry Potter’s Hedwig, are rare in New England. This year, however, they traveled south to the United States in record numbers.

The Humane Society of the United States recently rescued, rehabilitated, and released a handsome snowy owl who was hit by a car. While his fractured wing was on the mend, he got some of the best care any owl could hope for!
