Sleepy Panda in China

Seeing a panda in the wild is an exceptionally rare sight. There’s believed to be less than 1,600 of these reclusive animals remaining, and 300 of those are believed to live in China’s Qin Ling mountain range.

Smithsonian camera crews recently captured some adorable footage of a sleepy, two-year-old panda napping in a tree.
