Robert Irwin Teaches A Grumpy Bird How To Deal With Her Anger Issues

In a video for the famous Australia Zoo, Robert Irwin can be seen calming a bush-stone curlew down and teaching her how to deal with her anger.

Robert, son of the legendary “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin, has followed closely in his father’s footsteps, with some calling him a “spitting image” of his late dad.

Not only does he look like his dad, but he also seems to have the same talent when it comes to working with wildlife!

As you can see in the video shared by Australia Zoo, Robert was able to calm down a “grumpy” bush-stone curlew named Emily.

As Robert has shared on his Instagram, Emily has quite an attitude and sometimes acts out.

She’s even been known to swoop down and steal people’s hats right off their heads! Just check out the video below:

Prior to calming her of her anger issues, Robert even shared a selfie with the feisty Emily “moments before an attack.”

The picture looks innocent enough, but Emily turned vicious just moments after snapping it.

Thankfully, Robert was able to work his magic and got Emily to calm down and settle in for a snuggle. It didn’t come easily though!

At first, Emily was acting out and pecking, but Irwin stayed calm and collected as he talked her through her anger.

In the end, Robert finally won Emily over.

He said in the video: “I can finally confirm that Emily’s anger management issues have been resolved. She’s back to her old snuggly self. We’re all happy and she’s no longer biting people. Isn’t that right? Well done. I’m proud of you.”
