You’re Not Dreaming – This Pup’s Cuddly Compassion Is What We All Need
Dogs sleep, an average, of 12-14 hours a day, and spend at least part of that time dreaming. If you’re anything like me, catching your dog during one of those dreams is a great moment. My dog’s go-to dream state involves slightly kicking her legs and being more vocal than she ever is during waking hours. It’s pretty adorable, and I’ve wondered on more than one occasion what she’s dreaming about.
Well, research shows that our pup’s dreams are a lot like ours. Meaning: like us, they dream about things they do when they’re awake. So, the idea that dogs dream of running after their favorite toy, isn’t actually far from the truth.
The dog in the video below is clearly dreaming about something pretty exciting, and when his new puppy companion catches on, the puppy instantly goes into comfort mode. This is one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen!
