What Is Causing the Death of the Bees!?

Last year, a third of all bees mysteriously died — the latest result in a decades-long trend called Colony Collapse Disorder.

Although researchers have been working diligently to understand the cause of this horrific trend, it seems there are actually a number of factors, mostly human-related, that are causing their numbers to so drastically drop.

As Anthony mentioned in the video, one probably contributing factor to the decimation of bee colonies is the use of neonicotinoids, which are harmful insecticides that are known to be the cause of many bees’ deaths. Sign the petition to urge the EPA to ban the use of this dangerous chemical, which has already been banned by the European Union, in the United States.
