Rehabbed Otter Swims for the First Time in Months!

When Wildlife Aid first found this poor otter, he was suffering from some very bad foot and jaw injuries — likely a result of territorial fighting with another otter.

But after three months in rehabilitation, this otter is almost ready to be free! First, he’ll have to get re-accustomed to a larger environment, and to build up his strength by swimming laps in his new temp-home’s pond.
