Photographer Captures Stunning Time-Lapse Of Mushrooms Growing Over 20 Days

Since the COVID-19 pandemic caused a worldwide lockdown, more and more people turned to at-home hobbies, like gardening and caring for indoor houseplants, to pass the time. It’s a soothing activity that brings many people joy, and one of the neatest things about it is getting to watch the tiny seeds grow into beautiful plants.

The process of growing can almost feel like magic. One day, the plant is tiny or even in the dirt still, and within a matter of days or weeks, it can completely transform.

The same is true not just of plants, but of fungi as well. The way it quickly grows and transforms is so incredible, but it can be hard to see that change happen with our bare eyes.
