Master Of Disguise: Weedy Scorpionfish

Down on the ocean floor, staying hidden and away from danger can be a challenge. No such challenge exists for the paperfish, however. These well-camouflaged fish are very hard to spot, and they stay close to the ground. Their camouflage skills are primarily used for hunting. They lay still at the bottom of the ocean floor and wait for smaller fish to swim by within striking distance. Taking camouflage to a whole new level is the weedy scorpionfish. The master of disguise, the weedy scorpionfish, lures smaller fish in close to them while staying hidden and then devours them whole.
