Horses were first domesticated thousands of years ago as a means of transportation, and (particularly in Europe) there are very few in the wild — but the ones that remain are amazing.

In the wild, horses need to learn to walk at a very early age, because a young foal can be vulnerable to predators if it isn’t on its hooves. Watch the video to see a newborn wild foal learn to walk as its group looks on in anticipation.
