Invasion of the Jellyfish

The population of the beautiful but deadly jellyfish is on the rise. Although they look majestic from a distance, just one sting from the venomous tentacles of the more lethal species could mean instant death.

If the reproductive boom continues, which scientists believe is due in part to oceanic pollution, these creatures may soon dominate earth’s oceans. The result could have massive detrimental effects for both humans and wildlife, including a disruptive rift in the aquatic food chain.
