The underwater world is a fascinating one. We hardly know anything about our oceans – they’re an entire foreign planet unto themselves. But whatever we do know about life under the waves is definitely interesting. And any accompanying footage is always intriguing, to say the least.
But when it comes to potential predators, they can actually move quite quickly, retreating back into their little holes beneath the sand.
As the video states, “Shy creatures found only in Hawaiian waters, these eels only emerge from their burrow to eat zooplankton. They will spend their lifetime in the same spot, trying to avoid the eyes of roaming sharks.”
