Giant South American River Otters

South America’s giant river otter is the largest of the weasel family, and can grow to be as large as 6 ft. long (1.8 m). This endangered amphibious mammal is wary of humans, and seeing one is rare.

However, one camera trap in a Paraguay reserve was able to spot a couple of these beautiful creatures in action — watch the video.
