When we have an opportunity to go diving, we always hope that something momentous and memorable will happen.
It seems as if that recently happened for William Drumm, a 36-year-old man who managed to get the perfect selfie when he was snorkeling off the coast of Isla Mujeres in Mexico.
William wanted to imitate a whale shark, as they often swim with an open mouth.
He tried a few times to get the shot but eventually, managed to capture an amazing image.

Whale sharks are the largest sharks on the planet and they swim around eating plankton that they filter with their large mouths.
He posted the image on Instagram, saying that millions of fish eggs were in the water and it may have attracted the large shark.
He also said that they swim quickly, so he had to try a few times to get the best shot.
He also said that he would’ve had a number of options because there were more whale sharks in the water than he had ever seen in a single day.Whizzco
