What Would Happen If We Dug To The Center Of The Earth?

There has always been a lot of speculation as to what takes place below the surface of the ground. We realize that there are differences, depending upon how far we go, but science has changed and our understanding of the earth has changed along with it.

We also have many movies that take us to the center of the earth. Some of them have been around for quite a while, and others are relatively new to the scene, but in either case, they often provide a unique perspective, even if it is more science fiction than science.

This leads many to wonder, what if we could actually dig to the center of the earth? What would we find if we did so? There is a YouTube video that shows this in a rather unique way.

In the video, you work your way through many different underground structures, such as subways, mines, laboratories, underground cities, and even bomb shelters. Each of these man-made structures offers us a look into the earth at a deeper and deeper level.

It also takes a virtual trip into the Mariana trench. That trench is the deepest part of the ocean, but what do you find when you go even deeper?

That is when they propose the question, what if they were to dig a hole through the earth and out the other side? They then use the latest science to do so in a virtual way.

At this time, we realize that it is impossible to dig through the center of the earth and out the other side.

However, it is interesting to see it done on a video because it sparks the imagination and provides us with a unique view of something we may never see.
