Owl vs. Falcon: Who’s the Better Flyer?

The owl and the falcon are both fierce birds of prey, yet they differ in their modus operandi. The falcon is a racer with an aerodynamic body and wings that enable it to reach speeds of up to 200 miles per hour. It hunts in the day when the light is good and beats its prey with sheer speed. The owl has sacrificed speed for stealth. As a nocturnal creature, it hunts at night, when its superior night vision gives it an edge. Its wings allow the owl to silently hover close to its prey and then swoop down unseen and unheard until it’s too late.

The question remains: Which raptor is the better flyer — the agile and speedy falcon or the stealthy owl? You’ll have to watch the video to find out!
