This Video Shows What It’s Like to Ski on Untouched Snow High in the Andes

The Andes mountains in Chile are a marvel of nature. Watch this video to get an up-close and personal look at them from the eyes of expert skiers. The winter season in Chile beckons many, but it’s the ski resort Portillo that stands apart — known particularly for its amazing, powdery snow. At Portillo, you can find the infamous Super C 31 course, considered one of the world’s greatest descents. Portillo received up to 10 feet of snow from El Niño, so it looks like the season is already off to an intense start.
