If you live in a cold-weather area where the lakes freeze, you probably have been or have seen people ice-skating.
It’s one of those winter activities that make all of the cold and snow worth it, at least for a little while.
Matthew Moore was ice fishing on frozen Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire when he got to witness someone participating in the activity.
As it turns out, a bald eagle was on the ice doing his own skating routine.
After Moore took a video of the eagle, it was shared by a local news station, WYFF News 4 and it went viral.

I’m not sure if it is the Eagle doing his skating routine or if it is the guitar music that is playing in the background, but is just what my heart needed. Spring can now happen any day!
As it turns out, the Eagle isn’t just on the lake to have a good time, he is there to get a meal. At first, he seems to hesitate, almost as if he wasn’t going to pursue the prize that was in front of him.
In the end, however, he managed to skate his way over to the fish, pick it up, and fly away.
Just when you thought it was safe to go back ON the water!
