Man Rescues Baby Marmoset From The Middle Of The Road And Returns Her To Mom

I think all of us feel a little sad when we see an animal that has been hit by a car. It really doesn’t matter if the animal is small or large, our heart goes out to them.

At times, we may even be able to get involved before the accident happens, and that was what took place in the following story.

A tiny marmoset was in the middle of the street and a man who was driving by saw her. Rather than just continuing on, he decided to get involved.

As you watch the video below, you will see that the tiny monkey is just barely the size of his hand. He picks the monkey up, takes her to a tree nearby, and reunites her with her mother.

At first, the mother marmoset was understandably concerned about the human that was getting so close to her and already holding her child. Since the man moved slowly, however, he was able to walk right up to the tree and put the baby next to her mom. It isn’t long before the mother grabbed the baby and they take off for safer ground.

This video was posted on Reddit and at first, they identified the animal as a lion tamarin but it is actually just a common marmoset.

Those little monkeys are found in the Northeast area of Brazil near the coast and often are in urban areas.

It was also pointed out that it wasn’t the mother, but rather, the father who was caring for the baby marmoset. That remains to be seen, but regardless of whether it is a mother or father, it’s a beautiful thing to see.
