Extending through seven countries (Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina), the Andes is the longest continental mountain range in the world. Covering that much ground means that diversity can be had, in terms of climate (Tropical, Dry, and Wet), and, in turn, with the animals that call the Andes home.
